ENGAGE

Become a Part of the Live Free or Die Alliance

Just like a town meeting is energized by those present, the Live Free or Die Alliance (LFDA), as New Hampshire’s Virtual Town Hall, functions on the power of its members. Whether it is in the Virtual Town Hall, on Facebook or Twitter, or in face-to-face meetings, NH citizens can actively participate in the version of citizenship they prefer, quickly and easily. Make citizenship a part of your daily life!

This page serves as a crossroads for people to become active with the LFDA. By clicking on the appropriate links below you can participate, help us grow, and make a difference in your state and community.

Here are some actions you can take on this site:

Take Action

Member views expressed through the Live Free or Die Alliance venues are shared with NH government officials to help forge a new relationship with NH citizens and their elected officials. For example, results of an LFDA poll on gambling were shared with House members the evening before a vote on gambling.

Want to reach out directly to your legislators and tell them how you feel but do not know where to start?

The LFDA understands that reaching out to policy makers can be uncomfortable. Please keep in mind that NH has a citizen legislature with little staff. Input of citizens is much more important here than in most other states. Please visit our TAKE ACTION page for helpful information!

Review the Issues

Please visit our PRINCIPAL ISSUESin our Issues Library to learn about some of the issues facing New Hampshire citizens today. We hope that you will take this opportunity to join in and become engaged in issues of relevance to you or your community.
